Community Coalition Logo

Over the summer I was hired to redesign Community Coalition's logo to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The mission of the Community Coalition is to transform the social and economic conditions in South Los Angeles that foster addiction, crime, violence and poverty by building a mass-based community institution that involves thousands of residents in creating, influencing and changing public policy. My designed process involved a survey in which members, staff, and the board of directors provided input on what they wanted the new logo to look and feel and what they currently thought of the organization's brand. After a Two month long process and several sketches the board finally agreed on this logo. What do you guys think?
